The Broken Pot

This is one of the best places I've ever been! The food is fantastic, with a unique flavor that makes it extra special. The staff is amazing as well. You definitely need to try the potjie kos (oxtail)—it’s the best! Thanks, everyone, you rock!!!!!!

The Broken Pot (formerly O'Hagans) has been our go-to spot for over 10 years, where we've celebrated graduations, the first day of work, 21st and 30th birthdays, and even my bachelorette party – just to name a few! Whether it's a business lunch or a special occasion, this place has always delivered. The food is consistently amazing, the staff is friendly, and the service is excellent, complemented by a selection of great craft beers. Hermann, the owner, is always hands-on and readily available. The Broken Pot has frequently gone above and beyond for me and my friends. I will truly miss the chicken wings, handmade fries, and gourmet steak while I'm abroad, but it's always my first stop when I return to Potch!

This is the perfect spot to relax and invite friends for a wonderful time. The food was outstanding—the steak was tender and juicy, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. We will definitely visit again when we come to see our daughter at Potchefstroom University from Nelspruit.
