While waiting outside for a table, coworkers saw an uncovered cake from the storage room when he slipped out the storage space the fly screen on the door directly over the cake, and he continued to take the cake into the tearooms....Needless say we didn't wait, sit and left View all feedback.
The staff were so welcoming. The selection of cakes and food was amazing and a beautiful view across the common, what a way to rest and recharge..
My wife and I took my mum out for breakfast, the three of us had different breakfasts and drinks. We all commented on how tasty it was. A great choice of food and drinks on the menu. A touch expensive, otherwise it would have been a 5 star. All the staff we dealt with were very pleasant and accommodating.
I recently visited a wonderful café with generous portion sizes, delicious coffee, and cakes at a reasonable price. My only complaint is that I prefer table service over standing at the counter. Despite this small inconvenience, I will definitely be returning in the future.
Great view overlooking the park. The cake and coffee were okay, nothing special. Not very friendly staff compared to other restaurants we have visired In Portsmouth. One visit is good enough, with no plan to visit again in the near future.
This cafe is amazing! In my opinion, the cakes are excellent. It's always busy whenever I visit, but they always manage to find a spot for you quickly. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations, but the wait is definitely worth it. They also serve delicious savory food and have attentive and passionate staff.
