What Sasha Hill doesn't like about Delaneys The Sandwich:
Very pleasant little cafe, great atmosphere and decor, staff are very friendly and attentive. Menu options are good as well. There is no drink menu which isn’t great when you’re unsure what to get. We found the food portions quite small and of average quality....Would return for a drink but not for food. View all feedback.
In the planning for the stay-at-home pyjama hen party for our group we decided to deliver food. I knew about delaneys, but hadn't used them yet. we collected the most beautiful buffet on the day that was all agreed in advance, we had some diet needs to consider. delaneys gave the menu suggestions and made changes as in the art, nothing was too much annoyed. not expensive either beautifully presented on a wooden board, with extras to refill, last the delicious dip sauce to accompany the food. there was a lot of food, we had lunch and dinner from the buffet. the staff is very friendly while waiting for the buffet we were invited to sit and presented with a free glass fizz. I recommend delaneys for outdoor use and indoor use also looked pretty good! I'll go there next time I look at southsea.
We made a reservation for a bottomless brunch to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious and filling. The cocktails were tasty, although there was only one option available with the brunch (pornstar martini) and guests were not allowed to choose different cocktails. This was a bit disappointing. However, the bartender made sure that we always had a fresh drink ready to go, which was convenient. The restaurant was not very busy during the week, but the music made up for the lack of atmosphere. As a nice touch, they gave us some delicious fudge cakes for the birthday celebration. Overall, we had a great experience and felt like it was worth the money. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

Daniel...was the perfect host and made us so welcome (he also makes fabulous cocktails we enjoyed several dishes from the menu and everyone we torn off, but the stars of the show go both to the pig bell and to the sea. we also traveled through these Parmesan chips! the only light criticism is that we thought the olives and the brot could have been done with something oomphe....but that's all!
Sonny is a precious stone, a really bright personality with a great spark of positive energy that works with fantastic dan serving heavenly drinks.
We love sonny!!!! Absolutely, amazing hosts, a Ray of sun shine, with a constant smile and an amazing sense of humour.
