That was fantastic! Our main dishes were incredibly delicious and perfectly portioned. The dessert and coffee were also delightful. However, what truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing server we had, who was the best we've encountered in a long time. She was friendly, genuine, and struck the perfect balance between checking on us and giving us the space to enjoy our evening and meal. View all feedback.
What Drnola doesn't like about Jumpin Jays Fish Cafe:
Appetizer list was small and rather basic. Fish was expertly prepared and was actually better by itself than with the sauces available. Service was good as well. View all feedback.
Always have an excellent experience here. Great to if you are going to a show at the Music Hall just a block away!
Very fresh, very good fish and shellfish. My husband and I were pleased!
Always absolutely delicious! We wouldn't come to Portsmouth and not go to Jumpin' Jays. The atmosphere is nice you can be dressed up or casual but the food is SO good!! The mussels are better than any others we've had in the area, the seafood is delicious, and the Haddock Piccata and Seafood Mullugatawny Stew (with coconut milk! are amazing!!
We were very satisfied with our meal. We were there on Shuck-a-Buck night; the oysters were deliciously fresh! Excellent spicy, fried calamari! Friendly, helpful staff and fast service.
If you like consistent, excellent fish, this is the place! And wash it down with one of their super fine martinis. It is as good as it gets.
