this was my first time order from habibi, and I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good authentic Mediterranean food. a hidden gem at the edge of portsmouth without care for parking, a perfect option if you are in the mood to try something new! there is no other kitchen in the opposite as it! owners, enas sam was wonderful and so friendly and I can't wait to go back. two up! I have fond memories of El Morocco in Worcester, and I've enjoyed Mediterranean food all over the world, so I had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The baba ghanouj was watery, and so was the tabbouleh, which is usually my favorite dish wherever I go. Sadly, not in this case. All right. Saw outside. We had the lamb gyro, hummus with vegetables and vanilla rice pudding. Everything was really fresh. Can't wait to come back!
The Shawarma is delicious and so is the pizza!!! Great place to go with kids!!!
The smell of the place is kind of weird. And the food it is so so. I couldn?t even to bite the avocado because it was so hard bite. And the falafel not good at all. The other food was nahhh. But the pita was so good. I was expecting some kind of dressing for it. But nope. I honestly, I?m not planning for buying there again. The customer service is good.
The food was really good, the restaurant was nicely decorated Moroccan style, but the service was just okay. The woman upfront was a bit curt for some reason every time she spoke. They don?t take credit cards unless $10 or more and they don?t offer any extra sauces like hot sauce unless you make it an add on and pay a $1 for it. Overall it was good 4/5. I would recommend for the food.
Hands down the BEST falafel sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. I've been eating falafel sandwiches for about 25 years now and have not had one that has been perfection in every bite. Everything from the chicken marinade, falafel, hummus, the bread itself. Even the lettuce and pickles were proportioned evenly throughout the meal. Habibi you got a customer for life now.
