Finally made it to Terlingua with my wife and in-laws last night and it did not disappoint. Though the place was packed, they were very accommodating and had a table ready for us quickly. And the food? Incredible, delicious, unique! Terlingua perfectly fills a niche that Portland has lacked for a long time; high quality latin american fare! Can't wait to come back and try the BBQ (they were sold out by the time we arrived... and based on everything I ate, I can understand why . The beer, wine, and booze menu was top-notch as well :
The moment you walk in this place, the flood of smells is amazing. We ordered the Ceviche Tostada and the Terlingua Board, which is an assortment of smoked meats, and words cannot describe how good it was!! To top it off, the staff was super friendly which made the whole experience a 10/10. We definitely will be returning on our next trip to Portland, ME :
We have been here twice and love the food and friendly staff. Both times we shared the tacos and a pulled BBQ plate. There is always great local craft beer on tap as well.
Our second meal here and again it was fantastic! Must haves are the green chili with smoked pork, bbq brisket, and the side of roasted cauliflower with poblano and cheese. Joe the bartender was super friendly and accommodating definitely our go to place when in Portland.
Some of the best brunch food around. I had the brisket hash with poached eggs and it was phenomenal!!
