What EM doesn't like about Saigon:
This was a takeout order, first time trying this restaurant and we were thrilled to find a place we are eager to try again. We has a Saigon egg roll, steamed dumplings, Vietnamese noodles with pork, sweet n sour chicken and curry chicken. I am so glad we finally discovered a fantastic spot for pho! We tried the spring rolls and pho with rare beef on the side. The sauce for the rolls was excellent.
As a big fan of pho, I decided to order the large bowl but couldn't finish it all. The pho was tasty, though a little sweeter than I prefer. It was filled with generous portions of meat, noodles, sprouts, and other toppings.
My partner and I, who are from California, were extremely pleased with the quality of the pho at this restaurant! It was authentic, reasonably priced, the broth was delicious, and the serving size was generous.
Solid place to dine in. The smell makes me feel like I was home back in Nam.
I am obsessed with the pork dumplings and beef pho!
