Lunch. Had shells, oysters and mushrooms. The friend ordered the buckwheat cake. Loved the liver mouse pate with cognac. Everything was delicious. I liked sharing the dishes and trying. Will return. View all feedback.

Disappointing meal. Hadn't eaten here in several years since moving from Portland several years ago. Rating is based on the assessment by Trip Advisor. Food was good 4/5, but a bit too salty, Appreciated the amuse bouche, Service was average 3/5. For the price, would rate the experience 3/5. Must visit while in Portland. The food is cooked with love and the best quality ingredients. Service is friendly and timely. Great wine selection. I had a wonderful time.
Excellent food and service! everything worked fast and smooth, like a watch! this place knows how to eat delicious and delicious desserts served. in any case a place I would revisit and recommend!
Wife and I decided to check higgins at a date night in portland, while here visit family. we enjoyed our meal, including filled chili pepper, pumpkin, pasta and ling kabeljau. dessert was also fantastic, consisting of a chocolate skirt and a pfirsich pavlowa. great service has really helped make it a wonderful experience in the whole environment!
Higgins is the original agricultural restaurant in portland. eating is great! we all come here once for special occasions. the service is also really good, especially if they measure whether their waterglass remains full. they will probably need a reservation even though they get lucky and sit without a place. I recommend this place.
The girlfriend and I had a wonderful NYE dinner experience at Higgins. The space and staff are fantastic, and above all the food is phenomenal. Definitely a treat yourself destination.
