We had our first lobster roll here. We have nothing to compare, but the hubs did not complain. It was served on a fried roasted roll and went great both with beer and apple wine. It has a great atmosphere, and when you go down the stairs there is another cozy little bar. View all feedback.
What Julissa McLaughlin doesn't like about Gritty Mcduff's Brew Pub:
Gritty’s in Portland saved the day! After a short notice cancelation after the most recent storm, Gritty’s hosted our 60 person party with no hesitation. Meagan, Phoebe, and Ashley were great to work with so helpful and accommodating. We can’t say enough good things about our experience! Thank you View all feedback.
Delicious vegetarian ma n cheese with roasted jalapeños. I had a big beer called the Galician stupid IPA, which I would certainly drink again. my partner also enjoyed their meal. Service was great!
Great seaside pub and brewery in scenic Portland. Lots of tasty appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, dinners and of course house-brewed beers. Nachos were good, loaded with chicken. Ask for extra jalapeños. Burgers were cooked right, juicy and tasty. Friendly staff and great decor.
Casual atmosphere! Great music playing, but perfect for conversations. Waitress is very friendly. Stopped in for some drinks. Blueberry Ale and citizen cider is delish! A number of their ales ipa's are brewed right on site. Enjoy the outdoors by sitting out on the cobblestone walk or sit indoors with the air conditioning. Great stop!
SO good!! A hidden gem honestly. We had never been to Portland and honestly just picked a place after looking at their menu posted on the glass of the business down a cute cobblestone street. I got the lobster tacos and I am still raving about this dish days later. Best food all trip. Lobster, mango salsa and avocado crema. The waitress/bartender was fast and friendly. Great place to get drinks with the added benefits of good food. Think we spent about $80 on two dinners and drinks. Not bad for lobster!
Great atmosphere! I usually avoid live music because I can’t have a conversation over it, but this was an exception. We could talk over the music but ended up getting drawn in. The Tuesday musician was incredible! I would come back on a Tuesday just to hear him again. Wow!!
