The Basics - Porters Neck

My friend and I LOVED the food here on a recent trip to Wilmington. I ordered the BLT on Texas toast with fried okra and she ordered the crab cake sandwich with side salad. We also had the house mimosas and they were STRONG, yummy, and I loved the blackberry versus oj juice. The service was fine and friendly, but not out of this world, and the atmosphere was also comfortable but not overly remarkable. Highly recommend for a great lunch and easy atmosphere.

Walking/driving by, you might miss this pleasant place to satisfy your hunger but I'm glad I didn't. The service is great, and its a comfortable pleasant place to eat. The next time I come by, I'll look to come back here for another great experience.

Continues to be one of the best finds in Wilmington, NC. Even when packed, as they usually are, staff goes the extra mile to smile, check on the table multiple times, and make sure your pet is comfortable on a shady but hot day. Leave your number, walk the shops, they'll text when a table is ready. And the food is outstanding. Try the grit bowl.

Nice folks and great food Parking: Watch out for the parking spot right i n front. It's a loading zone and wasn't posted as clearly as we feel it should be. Ended up with $20 ticket!!
