Stopped in mid morning, it was lovely and warm, lovely and clean. The food was hot and fresh really enjoyed the mini breakfast.....tea and coffee out the back afterwards, the place was spotless too. Will be back soon View all feedback.

the first time I had in old, but it's never too satisfying. the place was for lunch to hopping, but the service was great and the eating was nice anvil salad worth a try. View all feedback.
If you really hungry, you for a tasty bite, order the big breakfast or dinner, last and really delicious, great pint, beautiful coffey, great atmosphere at the fairy, large outside venue for music bands, retractable dach and for them smoker and vaper, the outside area is covered with heating or cooling,

Had fantastic nights in this pub. the staff was more than ready to help and the atmosphere and music was fantastic. really cozy inside and super to see the football there too. would recommend to anyone who visits portarlington.
I visited The Anvil today for the very 1st time, but I can guarantee it will certainly not be the last! Bright, clean, extremely efficient and friendly staff, food was quick, hot, tasty and so well priced, an amazing experience! 10/10
Excellent service. Great space and big open area for live music. Food is amazing also.
