Country Pride - Portage

I love truck stop restaurants because they usually have good food. Land pride not disappointed! We come every time we go to the lighthouse ball and after probably 10 visits in the years we have never been disappointed. Love their unlimited salad bar, they keep it clean and fresh. The land fried steak is delicious and the Gravy is perfect. That's how we feel about everything we tried. We have never been disappointed by the service. I'm sad to see that they're not open at the weekend.

Pretty good food. A decent salad bar. A good find in an area without many other possibilities late at night. Service was friendly, but really slow. I was horrified to see a customer enter the kitchen and refill his own drink while I spoke to the staff who saw it. I was worried about cleanliness.

Juana the waitress is very sweet and welcoming. Paula came out and stood up and wondered how everything was. Great food, great service, well-maintained facility. Will eat again at Country Pride Restaurant.

I love how you can go on and get the salad bar anything you can eat, or choose something with it. The atmosphere is great and also the food. Had not expected that from a travel location, but amazing things come in packages that are not so attractive on the outside. Some have to recognize that. Always go there....
