I recently visited LaMotta's for the first time, and I was incredibly impressed by the entire staff! We had a party of 12, and our server, Moe, did a fantastic job of keeping our drinks filled and clearing finished plates promptly. I highly recommend the lobster guacamole, baked mussels, and calamari. There was a three-way tie for the best medium dish, but the rock steak stood out on top! I can’t wait to return. What User doesn't like about Lamotta's Dockside:
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and the service was good. However, the food was not up to par. I ordered a poke dish that was overly saturated, making it difficult to finish. The baked scallops were small and dry. The lobster rolls appeared to be more appealing. View all feedback.

It's a gorgeous setting and the food is fine. Service and hospitality disappointing. Every few years I go and remember that it never feels warm and welcoming.
The view is outstanding and the servers sweet, but inexperienced…. food was awful and expensive (fried shrimp could have been Gordon’s frozen) and lobster roll (is there such a thing as fake lobster like the fake crab)? Bar manager did ask on the way out and we were honest. He was also very sweet and bought us a drink…. So there’s that going for them. Again… the view and atmosphere is still worth the trip.
The food was very good, service friendly the view fantastic.
