Alchemy Bistro And Wine - Port Townsend

Disappointed after returning two years later. Service was poor; even if short of staff, a simple acknowledgement or comment that things were on their way would have been appreciated. A very warm day but no air circulation. We had to request bread which was brought to other tables, yet it came with only three pieces on a crumpled tea-towel, very poor presentation. Although the French onion and vichyssoise soups were good, the crab pasta was very much lacking crab.

We visited Alchemy Bistro for our wedding anniversary and were delighted with the entire experience. The wine and beverage menu included several of our favorites we don't usually see. The food was amazing and staff were friendly, responsive, and checked-in regularly. One of our new favorite destinations in Port Townsend.

Personable, friendly and accommodating staff; inspired menu with great variety of choices; beautifully presented dishes; charming ambiance. Great wine list, excellent service. It was a perfect restaurant experience!

Food and service was A+, the steaks were cooked to perfection

Many items on the menu weren’t available on this Fathers Day in 2023. It is hard to judge therefore. What we ordered was really good and they have excellent wines too. It’s probably one of the best restaurants in Port Townsend and we will certainly go there when we return to the city.
