We had a great experience at Thea for the second time, this time bringing our son and his wife along. Our son's wife, who is from Tuscany, ordered the arancini and they both loved it, despite her high standards. My wife enjoyed her seafood pasta, while our son originally wanted the veal Milanese but ended up with the chicken Milanese, which he gave high marks. We all shared an orange cheesecake and coffee, both of wh... View all feedback.
What Tevin Hane doesn't like about TGI FRIDAYS - St. Lucie West:
waited for too long to eat when the restaurant was empty. 4 out of 9 meal times were made wrong. the coffee was cold. we had to hunt the waiter because we hardly saw him. we wanted the jack to be divided into two, and when we got him, it was a total exam. View all feedback.
Six of us went for a light dinner after a show. We shared appetizers, all of which were super! My brother had a salad (arugula, red and yellow beets, pistachios and creme fraiche) which he declared the best he'd ever eaten. Very pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff. The only thing missing was a glass of wine and a few beers... it's BYO, which we didn't realize.
Very tasty food. Excellent presentation. Friendly staff. Nice ambience. Neat neighborhood scene. Highly recommended. The place has potential.
The appetizers were EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!! ( Brie Brulee unbelievably delicious!!!!!!!!!) The beet salad and garden salad was refreshingly cold, crisp, very tasty and a superb bite. The entrees? Not so much: Crab and shrimp pasta had succulent shrimp but the homemade rigatoni were NOT cooked..like eating raw dough. The Taziki sauce was UNDER everything on the Gyro Platte, and difficult to access in order to spread on the pita/meat/greens combo, and the meat was soft and crumbly, almost like poorly mixed meatloaf. The presentation of the gyro plate per se was eye-catching but the arrangement made it difficult to assemble everything. The salmon was awesome, as were the potatoes and beets, but the greens under everything were too chewy and not tasty at all. The blueberry panna cotta was flavorless , but the mousse cake/pie had a heavenly crust. Coffee was strong, tasty, had NO bitterness.I would recommend Thea's for FABULOUS appetizers and an awesome beet salad but the entrees left a lot to be desired .
Great service and the food and apps were so good. Gotta try the bruschetta
This was our first time at Thea but it won't be our last! Everything from the food to the service was first class. The decor is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Love that it is a BYOB. The arugula beet salad was amazing and our entrees were equally impressive.
