D & D's Lakeside Restaurant

Been here several times actually. Food is good, service is always friendly and there is live music every Friday night on the patio from 7:30-9:00. It has a nice deck setting on a canal.

Service here is a joke. Very slow service and not very good food. The prices are very high for everything. Try to avoid.

We love this place and frequent it for a relaxing casual lunch on the patio watching the boats which range from yachts to aluminum fishing boats come and go. Food is good, and service is excellent - fast and very friendly. Love it!

A great surprise at the northerly end of Scugog Island, near Port Perry. A lakeside gem on Lake Scugog. A newer restaurant in a marina area with a great patio area that appears to have been refurbished. We went at the dinner period and the service was excellent with a good serving of cheerfulness. A fair choice of beers and wines although only one draft beer and not my choice beer for sure. Surprised they do not carry the local draft beer, Old Flame (I have no interest in that brewery) but it would seem a good partnership?! Great pub style food. We shared some coconut shrimp ( excellent) and followed with a chicken topped flatbread and burger. Relaxed, cheerful experience. My wife rode over there on her motorbike with 3 friends the following day for lunch and had an equally enjoyable experience.

It was nice to eat on the patio by the water. The restaurant is very clean including the washrooms. The menu has enough selection to please most appetites. The prices are fair but not cheap.
