Vera's Burger Shack - Port Moody

Very good burgers with a number of varieties to pick from. Kid friendly casual atmosphere. Staff provide excellent friendly service. Central location in Newport Village. Poutine is also very good. Reasonable prices.

Fresh, hot, and tasty. Popped in for a takeout family dinner at 6pm on a Tuesday. Only one guy flipping burgers so it was a little slow, but the wait was definitely worth the wait. Fresh not frozen. Fast not greasy. The jalapeno buttons are delicious!

The good: serves alcohol!The meh: burger is good but not excellent. When it comes to burgers...it's the taste of the patties or the lack of that makes me either crave it or not.Secondary would be the price to the portion you get.I'm not craving to go back.

If they want a good burger, not the typical frozen items, they go to vera’s burger shack. I had only the grundburger and was surprised how big the burger was and very tasty. I have mine with scab, swirling, salate and tomate for $8.00 it. was very full. when they walk in the door, they have the history, how vera came into being and a photo of about 12 sorts of different burgers. you command what you want, and it will be brought to you.

We had a friend over the other day and we were thinking where to go dinner. We had knew about Vera's burgers and we thought we would try it. It is hidden a little bit in the corner but we found it with no problems....I had order the BBq burger with onion rings and my wife had the Vera burger with half onion rings fries. I can't remember what Tim had but it look real good. Overall, I was really impress with their burgers and yes we would go back.
