Came by on Sunday afternoon (like 2PM) - and found that it was the only restaurant in the entire plaza that was open...we were originally going for sushi - but that was closed, and the chinese place wasn't open for business yet - so we figured why not. Definitely GOOD call - the lady that put it together was very generous, gave lots of meat and veggies, it's like subway, you go down the line with what you want. AWESO... View all feedback.
What W A doesn't like about Donair Town:
Ever since new ownership took over the quality has gone way down. The new guy is very nice but the old owner held a special place in my heart. It used to be a go to, went once, then twice, will not be returning. It’s just not the same anymore. View all feedback.
We discovered this little tiny restaurant right on the main street in Port Moody, when moved here two years ago. The food always tastes delicious and the owner is quiet but friendly. The portions on the large platters are enough to feel stuffed, or share with someone. We usually go once a week with both our kids, who are both younger than 10, and getting two chicken, beef or lamb platters (yellow rice, bread, salad, dip, with lots of nice chicken chunks over top) is enough to feed the whole family for $20.It's not a place to go "have an evening out," as there's only about six tables in the little restaurant, it's a place to go eat hearty, delicious and filling food without a fuss and without breaking the bank.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the owner is genuine. A coworker informed me that the owner is patient, kind, and tolerant of a special needs young man from our workplace who can be disruptive. Instead of rejecting or stopping his visits, the owner chose to engage with him, restoring my faith in humanity. I am amazed by the owner's integrity and ability to succeed as a business in this economy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I dine at this restaurant three times a week! It's excellent! The vegetarian options are fantastic, especially the falafel!
I love going here. The man who works here is always super chill and nice. I get the chicken wrap with all the sauces and it's super fantastic every time.
Overly salty. Gross. Franchisee made the food way better then corporate owner. Never going back.
