Miller's Tap and Grill

While searching for a decent place in PH, we decided on this restaurant as it had some decent options for vegetarians and vegans. The entry is behind a motel and is still part of the motel as you enter the doors. We were greeted promptly and a table was available even though it seemed it was busy and packed. When we were presented with menu, it was different than we saw online. When asked were told that they were in a midst of menu change! This meant we had limited choice. Also we were told that many of the dishes were not available as they were not properly stocked because of the menu changes. Quickly settled on Vegetarian Papalote - a single baked phyllo sheet and within it vegetables and cheese and a white sauce. What we were not aware was that this rested on a bed of rice. The vegetables nice cooked and not too cheesy and just the right amount of sauce. The rice a bit dry. Also ordered a Salad with pumpkin seeds and house vinaigrette. The salad leaves not as crispy as I would have liked. The dressing perfect and the seeds added a good crunch. Also ordered a French Fry. The fries were top notch. Perfect size, crunch on the outside and soft inside and perfectly fried to a golden brown and cuts just the way I like it. If I only I could get these every time I order fries.

Had a late meal here on a Monday evening. Staff were friendly but service was a bit slow due to how busy it was. The chowder we selected tasted fabulous. There were far too many ribs in the bbq ribs order! Haddock was tasty too.

We had a wonderful dinner with scallops, crab, shrimp and mussels! It's a nice pub style restaurant. Amanda gave us amazing service! Next visit from Ontario, we will definitely be back!

Went to eat at Miller's while I was staying at the Maritime Inn in Port Hawkesbury and what an experience! First of all, Amanda (my waitress) was incredible. She was extremely attentive from the beginning and has a wonderful personality. I never had to ask for anything, she was always there when I needed. Secondly, I ordered the daily special, it was a stuffed chicken with a berry and wine demi mashed potato and fresh vegetables. Words can not do this dish justice! Absolutely astounded by all the wonderful flavours! Everything was cooked to perfection, the way it should be. :) I can not wait to return for another amazing meal! Great job and keep it up! Very impressed. :)

It was a beautiful day so we decided to eat on the patio (our first visit after the renovations, which look great!.) Our waiter Bryson was exceptional. He was very attentive, made excellent recommendations and was very pleasant. He made our day better! He even provided extra dipping sauce for us to try. The food arrived quickly and it was so fresh and delicious. We would definitely recommend the thai chicken wonton nachos!
