The Blue Marlin Inn - Port Alberni

We went there to have Lunch, I did have a coupon. I phoned the restaurant on the 30th. of Oct. and was told sure we accept them. We went there on the 31st. of Oct. and was told No Way; we don't accept them anymore. Not nicely and quietly, but, we where embarrassed. Got up left; We have gone to this restaurant on a regular basis, not anymore. The food is always good service to, But I'm done.

The service was first rate the restaurant is definatly nostalgic the food arrived quickly and was best steak I have had in a long time

Ate at the Front on a Log Lounge. It was a charming small town pub feeling and the staff were nice and welcoming. The food was excellent and the chowder was fantastic. Not a bad stop for lunch with lots of daily specials to choose from

The loud music all evening I overlooked when booking. Its a big deal. No chance of sleeping until 2a.m. when it shuts down. Room was clean and recently decorated. Staff friendly. Iffy locks on doors.

We stayed as a group of friends in the family suite it was spacious, well appointed, charming and comfortable would stay there every time we go to Port Alberni. No complaints at all!
