Type of coffee changes regularly and current one is written on a slate by the machine. Very well made. Friendly staff. Interior a bit dingy but this is more than made up by the atmosphere. Some very nice biscuits – dutch style chocolate and almond. The outside seating would be great in warmer weather. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dutch Coffee Lab:
What a shame coffee here is good, have been a regular for four years. It’s a shame the owner is so rude and lacks in any sort of customer service skills. I ordered an iced latte this morning, he served me a hot latte. When I said that I had actually ordered an iced one, he rudely said I hadn’t, and shoved it in my direction, arguing with me. I refuse to ever return here. I have had problems previously with his custom... View all feedback.
The coffee at this restaurant is fantastic. It was so good that everyone at my table ended up ordering two cups. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and very tasty. The venue is on the smaller side, so it got quite noisy when it was full. The service was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
Had the pleasure of visiting here with my Dutch mum, my 2 sisters, my 2 year old and my 5 month old twin nieces. Considering our stuff accidentally exploded and almost took over the entire back room, staff were attentive, helpful, friendly and hospitable. Coffees were delicious (especially with a warmed stroopwafel on top! as were the meals. I ordered Tom's worst (Dutch sausage and it didn't disappoint- definitely hit the Dutch food craving spot. If you're Dutch, it's an extra special treat, if you're not, it's still well worth the visit! Will go back to try to stroopwafel spiced French toast. YUM!
The smell of brewing coffee and breakfast drew us in. Mid morning and we were ravenous. We dared not walk past for fear of missing out on what could be. Popped in and scoured the menu. Ordered coffees and breakfast. A toasted bacon cheese and avocado sandwich and for my better half a hotdog with sauerkraut. Service was amazing. Super friendly waiter and service was swift. GREAT coffee. Hotdog delicious. Tick. Tick. Tick.<br/ <br/ Here’s the But!<br/ Toastie was SOO disappointing! For the price (it was dear), it was like one I could make at home. Hardly any bacon and tasteless. It was served with a few stale tasting potato chips! Disappointed, confused and deeply unsatisfying. <br/ Will go back for the coffee and great service. Hold the sangers.
Good coffee, friendly service. Nice food corn fritters and nice ambience. Would recommend and go again. The menu is a little limited but we enjoyed our breakfast here.
This restaurant is always bustling with new customers who quickly realize it offers the best coffee in Adelaide and become regulars. Their success is definitely due to the high quality of their coffee and fast, down-to-earth service. I give it top marks.
