Excellent pizzas freshly cooked and good wine selections. Other main courses of pasta, steak etc are available and excellent. Recently changed management but were not disappointed on our first visit after changeover. Worth a visit and situated next to the chateau and music theatre. View all feedback.
What Harvey James doesn't like about Le Vesuve:
I ordered "the gardener" to take away... very disappointed: the vegetables roughly cut, the tomatoes placed on even not cooked, no seasoning and a paste that resembles a frozen paste... all for 10 euros it makes expensive paid!. View all feedback.
Well worth a visit either for lunch or dinner. Ideally suited if you are visiting the Chateux or doing a spot of shopping in the lovely town of Pontivy. Great pizza and good value for money and a very cheerful happy host.
Le Vesuve is a small restaurant that serves excellent food at a very reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Their pizza's are always excellent with a take away service now available.

Lunch on July 28 for the 84 years of my father-in-law. At the beginning nothing can detect this very good table. You must enter to discover the waiter, a wonderful man and taste this 100% home, gourmet and generous cuisine! What a nice surprise for me what looks like a pizzeria! She'll shut up and apparently there'll be a crêperie... what a waste! Bravo to the chef and his teams We quickly forget the aging decoy when our taste buds get sore.
Restaurant top, pleasant and friendly as much the boss as the waiter. I advise you, good value for money.
