very pleasant lunch today. I had awarded the typical pork egg with pork rice. my partner had fried fishfilets, with chips and salat. we recommend it to everyone, great location and very friendly staff. View all feedback.
What Telmo Simões doesn't like about Restaurante Gaio:
We came there as pilgrims walking the Camino. We try to indicate on the menu that we want the pilgrims meal for two. There was absolutely no way to bring this into his head, even if we pointed at the meal. End up they brought...us double meals. The fish was not tasty and very small portions. The attitude of the personnel were bad. Not recommended. View all feedback.
Excelente restaurante, cozinha, qualidade e pratos tipicamente Limianos e minhotos ...
We had the luck to be called within minutes to get our names in place. there were many waiting with big parties. we had a lamb and an salate dish that was enough to feed three or four. the service was good. we had to wait a long time because of the lamb.
This is a very simple and traditional restaurant. we ordered and said we had ordered too much to eat that half the portions would be enough. they were right. we had olives and weeping when we waited for our grilled salmon as the first cure and calf as the main roast. with a bottle of wine and a large bottle of water came the bill to an amazing value. there were many local people eating as well as a few perogrinos. TV shows with Portuguese football game . simple but great.
