Screwy Louies Llc - Pompano Beach

Our server Isabella was great, personable, funny, quick and attentive. My husband ordered the onion rings and bang bang shrimp which were delicious. The onion rings are HUGE, he liked them I did not. The bang bang shrimp was the perfect amount of spicy they were great. I ordered nachos with Chicken and it was delicious. Our drinks were spot on. I requested Hippie Juice cocktail which they happily made for me and my husband ordered a cocktal off the menu and the bartender was quick and fun! Great little spot to stop in at.

The waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu. She also wasn't all that friendly and didn't refill our drinks, but the food runner was friendly and was much more helpful. I was a little surprised they didn't have sweet tea, but that could just be my Georgia expectations and is normal for this part of Florida. The Lobster Fries were different and very good. The Blackened Salmon was also very good. The fish in the Fish and Chips was crispy and tasty. The fries were good. The Reef Burger was cooked as ordered with a good amount of pulled pork and bacon. The side mash potatoes and Tator Tots were good. The Cole Slaw had plenty of vinegar, so be prepared is that isn't your thing.

So disappointing! We always went when it was Screwie s. Sure could be a bit salty but at least you knew what you were getting. TheBang bang shrimp or whatever they call it is basically the same as buffalo shrimp. No sign of the sweet chili Sauce that was on Screwie shrimp. Rum Runner!! Huh. 1 night at the bar it was $8.50. Dining at table, they were $11. Another night at the bar $5.00. What the heck game were they playing!! This wasn’t a happy hour issue either. Just a crooked bartender. Used to be our first stop as we entered Mad Beach. No more!

The food was amazing! We went for breakfast and I made sure to try a little bit of everything. The bananas foster French toast ?. And our server was one of the best I’ve ever had.

First restaurant in Madeira after a long drive. There were 11 of us total. The hostess we talked to was very short with us and told us we could only be at 2 tables outside. We tried joking with her, but nope, it didn't change her mood. We ordered drinks, which some were wrong and had to be corrected. Then we order our meals. Once again, one meal was wrong it was supposed to be lobster mac but got lobster fries, but we weren't going to bother with it and wait again. The crab stuffed grouper was crabmeat on grouper, a very small portion for the price. When we finally got the check, they added a 25% tip on to the bill. I think we will skip this restaurant and just go next door for better service and food.
