Excellent staff and food. If you're in the vicinity pay it a visit Edit Just a fabulous pub. Always lovely food great service. Just be wary of the cost of wine. Bottle of Zinfandel rose is £27. Quite extortionate star dropped Service: 5 View all feedback.
It was my husband birthday and we came across this lovely place in polperro . The beer battered fish was to die for , the chips were first class . Service was quick , staff friendly and happy , place had a proper cosy feel to it. Thank you . Going back tomorrow for good old Cornish cream tea .
Polperro is a one of a kind village with beautiful scenery. Staying at the Crumplehorn makes it even more special. The staff are fantastic the rooms are well presented the food is just wonderful. Nearby restaurant’s are excellent value and really good food. Fabulous walks. Great bus service. It’s definitely worth a visit you won’t be disappointed.
Called in for a snack on the way up the hill from Polperro. The sandwiches are a meal on their own, very well filled with a helping of coleslaw and a handful of crisps. Thoroughly enjoyable. Cannot say about the rooms as we were day trippers.
An amazing place, I only stayed for 2 nights but wish I’d booked for longer. I had the Du Maurier Suite; a quirky suite of rooms above the bar that were really comfortable and had everything I needed. The service at the bar was perfect, always a friendly face to serve you. The menu is quite short but still a good choice. Each room also has a parking space allocated so there’s no issue with parking.
Absolutely lovely,we were expecting a room, but it was an apartment with kitchen and lovely bathroom, above the pub with our own entrance, food was excellent and not far to walk into the village
