There is an outdoor area with picnic tables and a bar. For those not braving the sun there is a screened-in seating area and of course an area that has A/C. The drinks are reasonable and there is entertainment on the weekends. At times the owner sets up a free buffet on Sundays after 4. (I did say FREE . Don't know how long that will last but where else can you get three beers and two meals for around $5. Be sure to tip the waitress generously. Oh I have to mention that the sunsets over Lake Marion are spectacular. Most of the regulars go there for the sunsets. It is a great place to chill out and enjoy old Florida ambiance. The activities vary by the day of the week. (fishing off the pier and a prize for the biggest fish on one evening, Karaoke, etc. The menu features wraps, burgers, and some specials. I really enjoyed the white fish wrap. I have been there two Sundays so far and the buffet was chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, corn and mashed potatoes on day and grilled hot dogs, smoked sausage sour kraut and chili with potato salad the following Sunday. WOW. Get there early while it is hot and plentiful. The owner is bending over backwards to make a go of this diamond in the rough.
This what an old Florida juke joint is supposed to be.... great food, great music and great prices. Yuppies need not apply.
Went here once, enjoyed the food and laid backness
