Le Saint Guillaume - Plouhinec

I miss going there so much. Top quality seafood. Wonderful service without being pretentious. Love these guys. If you want a view, you will be spoilt. there is a tiny walk, just enough after a memorable lunch. Not a huge selection of wines and desserts but what they have is fabulous and just what you need. Not to be missed.

My husband and I ate here in September 2019 on the recommendation of our Air BnB hosts. We joined many other diners and had a table with a view. We ordered a HUGE énorme platter for two with crevettes, huîtres, bulots, langoustines, moules, and more. The food was delicious and very fresh! It was too great not to eat everything (except the empty shells). When we went to leave in the dark, the GPS on our rental car was not working. Our cell phones did not work for GPS either no signal. My husband went back inside and asked for help. A fellow came out and tried to fix our GPS no luck. So he offered to lead us back to Saint Hélène! Once we neared our road, we stopped and I offered him money for his gas. He refused and said that he lives in St Hélène and had to return home anyway. We found out the next day from our hosts that this gentleman was an owner of the restaurant! On a return visit to Bretagne, we will go back to Le Saint Guillaume and we hope to see the saint who rescued us.

Very simple but terribly effective! Top service! We don't wait for you to ask for bread, the basket is filled automatically! If you like good seafood, you will be served! And, finally, the boss explains and talks to you (with a hand on the shoulder) as if you had known each other for thirty years! WELL DONE!!

Very good seafood, but interior needs renovation
