I enjoyed the empanadas very much. The pumpkin soup was amazing. Burgers were out of this world. Key lime pie to die for. Do yourself a favor, if you're a vegan food lover try everything on the menu. View all feedback.
What Empress7 doesn't like about Chef Cristy's Vegan Plant-based Cafe:
I was extremely hungry when I arrived at this restaurant. The person in charge of opening the store was late, causing me to wait for an hour and a half before they finally arrived and got things set up. Even after they arrived, it took them more time to prepare my food. Unfortunately, the burger was just average and not worth the money. The sweet potato fries were terrible - dry and undercooked. I was very disappoint... View all feedback.
This is the best raw vegan restaurant that I have ever been in my life, I miss this place already it is so hard to find a raw vegan place with all the natural ingredients like this place, I can totally taste the differences and really miss it
The food we ordered was okay but nothing to write home about, I was really sad that I didn’t enjoy my meal. It was not very flavorful and was not what I was expecting. I am not a raw vegan, so if that is more your thing then you will likely enjoy it better.
I have given three chances (pastries, empanadas, soup, cheesecake, pizza raw and baked pizza were small sizes hors d'oeuvres and overpriced like no other restaurant, not even in Tokyo they charge that at the best restaurant/cafe) to this place located in Plantation in January 2022. I am not a perfectionist and it is unfortunate to deliver this Zero Star review but hopefully by the time someone else tries they can improve the overall quality from the customer service, food preparation and freshness, time delivery, price adjustment for specific portion size and represent the philosophy and mission statement that they advertise to have. In Great Health and Best Service for the near future to come! _Response to Owner’s Comment: CHARITY IS A VIRTUE AND I LIVE BY BEING A HUMAN KIND AND TRUTH MIGHT TEMPORARILY HURT YET MORE BENEFICIAL THAN FALSE REALITIES AND ADVERTISING. THE EMPLOYEES ARE JUST THE PRODUCT OF THE TEAM/OWNERS/MANAGERS PRODUCTION AND MANIFESTATION OF THOSE WHO CREATE THE STRATEGIES AND DIRECTIVES TO FOLLOW. EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE COMPENSATED FAIRLY AND TRAINED ACCORDINGLY BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES MAKING THE EFFORT OF INVESTING THEIR ENERGY INTO WHAT WE ARE GOING TO ULTIMATELY CONSUME SO RAW FOOD FOR THOUGHT. COMPARISONS ARE NOT PRODUCTIVE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU COMPARE PROCESSED FOODS WITH DELICIOUS RAW APPLES. AFTER ALL THERE IS ONLY ONE CHRISTY CAFE. HAVE I BEEN PATIENT? THREE VISITS AFTER UNANSWERED CALLS, ORDERED MANY ITEMS AND TIPPED THE EMPLOYEES BECAUSE THEY HAD ZERO TIPS AND NO CUSTOMERS. DO I HAVE UNDERSTANDING? I HAVE INNER-STANDING, AND DO I HAVE EMPATHY? SHINNING THROUGH, I AM SORRY FOR THE SUFFERING. SOME PEOPLE JUST LIKE ME DO NOT TRADE THEIR VALUES FOR MATERIAL GAIN SUCH AS FOOD, MONEY SO ALWAYS GOOD TO VALUE QUALITY OVER QUANTITY BLESSINGS!
The customer service was great and I really loved the lentil soup. I’m not a big fan of raw or gluten-free food so I couldn’t give it a full 5, but the person I was with loved their meal. I love that they offer a wide selection of both raw and fully cooked food. This is perfect for parties that want both. Another plus is that they are in Plantation. Hoping more vegan restaurants make their way to West Broward.
I knew this place when it was Green Wave. So, I was curious and excited to try it when it changed hands. The cheese cake is cool. The snack chips are over priced to the point that it is insulting. The food is no where near what it was when it was Green Wave. It is too sweet potato and cashew heavy. Maybe this location is just neglected for the new ones they are opening. The ladies who run it are sweet. But, over all, it doesn't seem like there is a whole lot of love going into this place. It is really sad.
