Oishii Plano

I was in oishii several times, and while eating is excellent, the portions are getting smaller as the prices continue to rise. my royce role today was tiny in comparison with what it was in the past, and $20 for a single little roll is ridiculous.

Our first time dining at Oishii! Had heard good things about it and finally decided to try a new sushi place. It was pretty busy so had to wait a bit for table even with reservation. Other than that it was really good! Bartenders friendly. Waiter as well! He knew a lot about the menu and had recommendations. The drinks were good. The food tasted very fresh and everyone at table was impressed with the food and said it would be a new sushi spot for us! Will definitely go back! We live so close and wish had tried it much sooner!

It was very good. Felt a bit rushed by the server to order but she was very attentive to our needs. Definitely would go again.

This was a Thursday night and it was very busy. The restaurant is basically one big room, so it is very noisy. They must have been understaffed, because the tables on both sides of us were dirty and it took someone quite awhile to clean them off. We sat there for over 10 minutes waiting to have someone take our drink order. We ordered our meal at the same time, considering how slowly things were moving that night. The food came out quickly and was perfect, as usual. My husband said he was tempted to drive back down to the one on Wycliff, since we’ve never had bad service there and it is quieter, even though we live a few miles from the one in Plano. We will continue to eat there, but will probably try some non-peak times.

We had a reservation at 6:30 pm on a Monday night . The service was so slow , even to get drinks. We ordered appetisers , as we wee told that there was a 45 min wait for sushi. After almost TWO HOURS , we still had no food, empty drinks, no apologies from management or wait staff. We left . Hungry. Will never go back.
