Great food love that they offer different portion sizes. The service lacks speed and attention from the server. Food once ordered is fast and hot and great presentation.
We went to Goochie's Cafe almost every week, but since then we haven't been back in a dozen years. Today we were in the area and decided to see if it was as good as we remember....and it was! The eggs of Benedict are tasteful, with a sauce that has no duplicates anywhere else. My Denver Omelette was fluffy and delicious (especially with ketchup and hot sauce). But the BEST part is the raw potatoes that are crushed, roasted potatoes. So delicious! The coffee is also pretty good, but I prefer it a little stronger. Overall, I was incredibly happy to see that they are still as good as I remember... and I won't wait as long as I return!
A friendly, comfortable place that serves only good food. I discovered this place when I traveled. I was glad I stopped. My sister and I have eaten there occasionally since then. A modest institution, but it's busy, it seems every time we go there.
