I can't praise this pub enough! The food is fantastic, the beer is excellent, the atmosphere is inviting, the service is top-notch, and the people are wonderful! My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal, good beer, and engaging conversation. Our server, Chris, was exceptional! We will certainly return if we're ever in the area again. I highly recommend this place without a doubt! View all feedback.
What Jessica Campbell doesn't like about Black Swan Brewpub:
I ordered the Braised Beef Mac-N-Cheese, but to my disappointment, it arrived without any cheese. When I called to inquire, the lady on the phone explained that only their "cheesiest" mac-n-cheese actually comes with cheese. What I received was a box containing elbow macaroni topped with braised beef, nothing more. Unfortunately, patrons should be cautious—menu items may not be as described. View all feedback.
This place is in a great location and had delicious food. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night but we had good service l. Good selection of beer and mixed drinks. Def worth a stop in!
Fun and friendly atmosphere with great food. Also if anyone is looking for something to do on a Monday night they do trivia. I had a mandarin cranberry salad and it was really good.
Had lunch here last week, the Beef Poutine was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten! Every ingredient in this dish was perfect, the potato wedges soft and crunchy on the edges , the cheese curds were so good melted and the roast and gravy had a rich flavor, in fact both ladies I was having lunch with stopped eating their lunch and just shared mine! Lol (It is listed as an appetizer so there was plenty for us all to share). They were jealous from the time the plates were brought to the table! Needless to say we will all be returning for that dish, I think I talked about it all week. ???? Kudos to the Chef!
First time that I went, I had to sit outside with my friend because the place was crowded at night. A bit cold. I got the ribeye with onion petals and Generals Tso's Califower. Sadly I have to say that I believe that I got food poisoning. I had to ???? 3 times the day after. It's now 2 days after and I haven't been at work and everytime I eat/drink something, I ???? after a few hours. Sad to say that I wasted $31 just to get food poisoned.
A very cozy and family friendly atmosphere. I was impressed by the list of beers, and decided on the Cordially Yours Stout. Dark, creamy, smooth and a great balance of sweet from chocolate and cherries, and dryness from dark roasted malts. We ordered the large Buffalo Chicken Dip which came in a bowl with a large bowl of tortilla chips. The Buffalo Chicken Dip was chock full of tender chicken. It was smooth and creamy with a hint of heat from the Buffalo Sauce. It was so delicious I could have eaten the dip by itself with a spoon. The Beer Braised Beef sandwich was delicious. The meat was moist and flavorful, and the bread was crunchy and sturdy enough to hold up to the meat. The waffle fries were ok but at times flavorless because of lack of seasoning, cool to the touch and cat times dry. Sadly, the Fried Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese was a major disappointment. The Fried Buffalo Chicken was tender and crispy and tasted even better with the Buffalo Sauce. It was then topped with diced tomatoes, Ranch Sauce and Bleu Cheese crumbles. That was on top of freshly cooked pasta. There was no cheese anywhere in the pasta dish. The menu was very misleading because this meal dish was listed as a Mac N Cheese meal when it was really a pasta dish. My son didn't eat much of that meal, and decided to finish off the Buffalo Chicken Dip. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake. That was extremely delicious. My son loved the creaminess of the peanut butter frosting meshed between the rich chocolate cake. I ate the Peanut Butter cookie which was firm yet soft in the middle with crispy edges, and a great taste of peanut butter. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
