While some patrons have had disappointing experiences due to slow service or missing menu items, others have praised the food quality and excellent service. The outdoor terrace is highly recommended for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, Pampano is a popular choice for those looking to enjoy creative Mexican cuisine in a vibrant city setting.
Delicious food, great service, and large portions. Not your usual tapas.
We were disappointed with our dining experience at this restaurant. They were out of many items, including some of the things we ordered. It took 30 minutes before they informed us about the out-of-stock items. The octopus we did receive was overcooked and inedible. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed, resulting in a lousy overall experience. We ended up going to a nearby bar to eat bar food because we were still hungry. It was not the ideal first experience for our friends that we had brought along.
Although the sangria was excellent and the staff was fantastic, the food was mostly mediocre and the calamari was chewy. I'm still hopeful for Pittsburgh to have a top-notch tapas restaurant.
I am thrilled that Juan is back in the kitchen at Pallantia. I have been a regular visitor for a long time but stopped going when they did not have a skilled chef. The food is incredibly creative, fresh, and delicious. The jerk duck wings and potato soup were both amazing. We will definitely be returning.
I visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday and had a great experience. The drinks, atmosphere, food, and service were all amazing. I have walked by this place every day and finally decided to try it out. It was a hidden gem and I will definitely be returning in the future.
