Very nice setting where the dining room is beautifully decorated giving a Thai ambiance. Service is fine, though they do add a mandatory service charge for all parties regardless of size. Pad Thai and pad siew were overly sweet. Also the Thai ice tea was overly sweet. Tofu with vegetables dish was very mild spice even though medium hot spice was requested. Curry noodle soup was very flavorful and the noodles were not overcooked.

We visited this Thai restaurant in Pittsburgh an hour before closing time, and from the moment we walked in, it was clear we weren’t welcome. The person who served us rudely told us to order quickly because they were closing soon. The food we received was mediocre but the real issue was with our drinks. We ordered drinks that never arrived. When we brought this up to the waitress at the end of our meal, she laughed in our faces, didn’t apologize, and still charged us the full price. This place is definitely overrated.

This place used to be amazing with unique outdoor dining experience, not only did it closed, but service and food quality went downhill. Came in as a party of 4 and they automatically added a 20% service charge which I didn’t appreciate, no warning, went to their website which also did not have á notice. I have no problem paying but not when service is not on par. Always come here whenever I visit Pittsburgh, this would be my last time.

I recently visited this restaurant and had an extremely disappointing experience. The service was terrible; the staff was inattentive and unhelpful. The worst part was finding a bug in my water, and when I pointed it out, the server just said, “Oh, it is a bug,” and did nothing to resolve the issue. The food was equally disappointing. The Thai green tea was overly sweet, much sweeter than at other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. It was almost undrinkable. To top it off, they automatically add a 20% service charge to the bill, which is outrageous given the poor service and quality of food. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone.

Nicky's is probably the nicest Thai restaurant in the city. Quality is always top notch. I would suggest trying their specials. While the main Thai staples are delicious, their specials really take the cake. And the fried ice cream is amazing.
