I've been coming here for years and as a vegan who loves curry this place is the best! The owner is so sweet, the food is incredible, and I couldn't recommend more!! View all feedback.
What Bree Zalewski doesn't like about Little Bangkok In The Strip:
Not sure if it was a bad day or not, but food was definitely lacking. I ordered from here, because my go to Thai places were closed for the day. Everything was extremely SWEET. Pad see ew was so sweet it almost tasted like it was coated in syrup. Couldn’t taste the spice or any other flavor to it. Just sugar. The noodles were also undercooked. The summer rolls were good, but the peanut sauce tasted more like a sweet... View all feedback.
Delicious Thai food with a surprisingly wide spice-scale. Other places often won't make the food all that spicy even at their max spice level. Spicy Basil, Calamari and the Pad Thai were deliciousGreat, attentive service.
The food is amazing! The owner is so awesome! She is so sweet and kind! She even remembers our names and what we order! My favorite little Thai restaurant in Pittsburgh!NEVER a bad meal or experience!Vegetarian options: Excellent choices! She will cook whatever you want!
Straight forward good Thai restaurant with fresh food and legit heat levels. Service was top notch. After a generous tip my curry was $27, which seems a little high, but it is in the Strip.
Good Thai food in the Strip District. It's a nice place to stop by after you have walked around in the Strip for a while. They have all the classic Thai food items, and some of their own specials as well. I tried the pad see ew with tofu and the coconut sticky rice with ice cream. The pad see ew was not very good. It was topped with far too much pepper, which made that the dominant flavor. Also, many of the vegetables were not thoroughly cooked. The tofu was fine but somewhat soggy. It was somewhat dry. Portion for the price is on the smaller side. I have definitely tried better in other places. However, the dessert was quite good. The ice cream tasted like a slightly more sweet version of vanilla, not much coconut flavor, but still great. Perfect texture for the rice and a decent amount of coconut milk although more would have been nice. It's a good combination of warm with cold. All in all, a solid place to stop by but I have definitely had much better pad see ew. It is also on the pricy side, although the portions are okay. The dessert (coconut sticky rice with ice cream) is very good though.
The ambiance leaves much to be desired as all seating is right near the door, but the food is amazing. The crab wontons were so good that we ordered a second serving before our entrees came.Food: 5/5
