Really great breakfast place a little outside downtown Pittsburgh but it is worth the trip there! The food was very delicious and had a very homey feeling for the place, plus their pancakes are super delicious! And after you're done, go down the street and get a spectacular view of the city! Kinda surprise that this type of diner disappoint me, usually provide solid quality with reasonable price. Love the atmosphere of older decor and the size of the menu. Beside pancake, everything is bland. Never had omelet and home fries taste like this before. Just a disappointment. Great, authentic diner food! The perpetrators were crispy and not greasy, and the sausage was so tasteful! Check out this place for full-day breakfast after Monongahela Incline on the hill!
I ordered my breakfast and lunch for today. My breakfast sandwich was incredible, it didn't take long enough for the photo. This is lunch. I'll order again soon. I've passed it so often and that's my first time. All right. Best breakfast sandwich I've had for a long time.
Amazing food! I have a breakfast Queensadilla, the bacon eggs Avacado potatoes and the works had! Was so good that we can't wait to go back!
I just moved to Mt Washington and have been to J&J's twice so far, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both times I had incredible food, this is an old school Pgh family owned neighborhood diner. Everything is homemade, their biscuits and gravy are delicious. I also had a jalapeno and cheddar burger that was amazing. They give you a stupid amount of fries too. haha Next time I'll take a photo of the food. Great food at a great price what more can be said?
