What Donna F doesn't like about Pho Hoa Noodle Soup:
1.Steak was all bean sprouts and onion, no flavor. Steak was almost forgotten. S17. Popcorn Chicken Bowl was so dry and flavorless. Egg was dry hard fried. Rice was stuck together. Definitely needed a sauce. I never write a review but this was the worst. Will never order from this restaurant again. Cannot express how bad the food was.
I have a cold, so I figured a nice pho would lift the spirits. My usual spot was closed. So I picked this one. The noodles taste old which really ruined the whole dish. I have to say I've never had pho with lettuce and tomatoes in it, kinda worked. Well never again. That was money down the drain.
I'd avoid this spot honestly. I ordered a large beef stew, and then paid $4.80 for seafood extra. They gave me 1 shrimp, 2 tiny pieces of calamari and a piece of salmon that's 1 cubed. All that for almost $5 is a ripoff. The beef stew has like 5 pieces of meat in it and 4 carrots. That's it. Nothing else, just that and the noodles which was the size of a normal order of noodles anywhere else. Portions are super tiny at this place. The last time I ordered from them I got the most bland pho I've ever had. Thought I'd give them one more try with the beef stew. Not worth it.
I had a really yummy pop corn chicken bowl. Would totally come back againUpdate. Still delicious after coming here for a
Pho Hoa Noodle Soup is a hidden gem located conveniently off the exit to Pinole, heading towards Pinole Valley High School. The prices were fair, there were plenty of places to park, and the service was good. The prices were right for the size of the servings, and the large one was more than enough for two people. Don't eat too much if you can't feed two people. Fresh spring rolls and fried rolls were tasty starters, and they gave us a plate of mint, sprouts, and jalapeos so we could make our pho just the way we liked it. There were a lot of noodles, a good amount of meat, and the tasty broth hit the spot. They also had a range of drinks, like boba drinks and Vietnamese coffee, that were good for cooling down. There was plenty of space between seats, and it wasn't too loud. But I took away one star because we were sat in the back left corner, facing the register. This made it easy for the staff to miss us. Also, the bathroom was cooler than the rest of the room, and our drinks weren't always replaced quickly. Even with these small problems, I think you should check out Pho Hoa Noodle Soup because they serve good food and try to be the best. After a long day outdoors, my family and I stopped by to grab a nice hot bowl of pho on our way home. Pinole was in the way there and stopped by. A variety of pho bowls. Located inside a food plaza and definitely convenient to find.
