This was my first roadhouse experience so I guess it will always be my best because as I've grown up, I've liked roadhouses less and less and I can't even remember when last I visited one.<br/ <br/ Best family moments at this establishment, I'm not surprised that even after so many years it still remains quite popular among patrons of Alberton City and Alberton Mall.

At one sta... read more My whole family has been buying here since we were kids. my sister still gets her dinner here every now and than so we are serious dedicated patrons. At one stage I must admit they had the best burger I ever tasted but as I grew older and tried other places the award went elsewhere but if you in the neighbourhood and want a freaking amazing burger and coke .. This is your place.. its a typical roadhouse where you park there and just roll down your window they bring a tray of your food and plank it on the side of your car. as I mentioned their burgers are really great, their dagwoods are brilliant (that is P's absolute favorite!!!!!! their curry and rice is amazing, they fried chicken is great and their spaghetti bologneise is fantastic. If you driving around on a hot summers day, try their shakes. Over the last few years they have introduced Sunday dinners, haven't tried it but I heard it's good. Their chips (fries are good too.. especially when they warm and you add salt and vinegar.. that twang is just right...

What I love is that I can stay inside my car and the waiter comes up to my window and takes my order. The food then gets brought to my window and is hooked onto the window with a tray. I’m not sure what happens when it rains but it didn’t rain when I stopped by. The waiters are attentive and friendly and the food doesn’t taste mass produced. The strawberry milkshake is to die for. Nice and chilled for a hot Joburg Summers Day. The portion sizes are great value for money. I would recommend Casbah to my friends and family.

I don't normally order burgers but I had a craving for something greasy and this just beat my expectations! Compliments!!
