Los Compadres Mexican - Piggott

We've been visiting "Mexikaner" at least once during our years in Piggott, and we even had our rehearsal dinner here. We absolutely love the owners and their family. The staff is always helpful and attentive, and the food is amazing (so delicious!). We're especially grateful that they can accommodate our large groups filled with children! Thank you!

The service here is consistently excellent and very quick. I walked in, placed my wife's order since she was at work, and within about six minutes, they brought my takeout bag to me.

As I began to cut into my steak, it was tough and chewy, almost like old shoe leather. The steak itself was thin and very unappetizing, with a dull gray color. The best part of my plate was the sides. The server was friendly, but the rest of the staff seemed uninterested and didn't even smile. The guy at the register was more focused on his phone than his customers. My family was equally unimpressed, and we all agreed that we wouldn't return. I can only imagine what a health inspection would reveal. Big Herb will definitely not be coming back. I’m giving this place two stars—one for the flying insects, one for the poor service and kitchen practices.

When I entered the restaurant, the lady at the door was friendly and invited me to sit anywhere. However, it took about five minutes for anyone to assist me. During my wait, a group came in and spent time behind the counter, chatting and on their phones, without greeting any customers. It felt as though they didn’t care about helping those who weren’t regulars, or perhaps they assumed I should know to seat myself. This isn’t the ideal way to treat patrons. While the food was decent, the overall service left much to be desired.
