What User doesn't like about Golden Paradise:
I recently ordered food from this restaurant as I was in quarantine and couldn't leave the hotel. I tried their vegan biryani, samosas, tofu butter chicken, and kathi roll. The food was good, but I found that everything tasted quite similar. I prefer more variety in my Indian dishes, but I would consider going back to try other items. My favorites were the samosas and kathi roll. Unfortunately, they didn't offer any... View all feedback.
Dimpy suggested many yummy items that they can make vegan. At first we weren’t hungry and ordered a dish to share that she recommended with bread cooked without milk or butter. So good that we ordered another course and asked Dimpy to recommend. A lot of choice. Fresh spices made everything delicious.
Flick through the menu and you'd think there were no Indian food options. In fact, the entire Indian menu is after the desserts! Vegetarian options were plentiful, although few looked like they were instantly vegan (we didn't ask for them to be veganised either). Proprietor scaled our spice request based on our nationality, but we think he underspiced a little. Food was also a bit salty, but we've come to expect that from Thailand by now... Otherwise, very happy with the food; it was good value for Karon beach area.
We ate butter ”chicken” with tofu, tikka masala tofu and the wobble rings was amazing. the best vegan Indian food I've ever eaten. the service and the tool were also beautiful. there you can even book cooking classes!
The restaurant has “vegan” printed on the window but not all staff are familiar with the term, ask for the vegetarian menu and adjustments can be made from there. Had an average sweet and sour (but it did have tofu which is a rarity in this part of Phuket), and a pretty good masamun curry
Can adapt certain items to make them vegan friendly. Service was friendly but found the food average with measly portion sizes. The Thai food is ok priced but the Indian food was expensive.
