I have always loved Pei Wei in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This was my first time visiting a Pei Wei in Phoenix, Arizona. The restaurant we went to had a rustic aesthetic, with dim lighting, red brick walls, and a lit outdoor terrace. As always, the food was delicious at Pei Wei. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pei Wei Asian Diner:
I ordered online for a quick pickup and arrived early, but it was the worst decision ever. My order was not filled and I wasted my entire day waiting for it. Despite the missing parts, especially from the soup, I didn't ask for a refund because I had also picked up lunch for my coworkers. I was so disappointed and won't be going back. View all feedback.
That was absolutely disgusting. what I was served was cold spaghetti looking noodles with a sauce with pieces of what was supposed to be chicken, those were these squishy rough cubes from mush. it was also cold. I would never eat there again.
Today we used the online only special to buy a entree and get a entree free it was quiet and empty and we enjoyed the music selection that was played. that eating here is always so scrumbling and tasty?
The second time I have a negative experience here, and these are not the only times I was here, so something has changed. I went to order the weekend to open in time, I looked in the door because online it said it should be open, but the girl in the inner looked at me only. that's good I thought maybe the times are wrong, so I waited and invaded at 11:07 and when the girls came to the door, I heard them say oh my goodness in an annoyed tone, she was also rude while I took my order. Today I called to make a phone order and I was now 15 minutes in the hand. I had never had these experiences before anyone so clearly managed the wrong. as disappointing.
Welcome to your single serving life. To start this place took away the soy sauce bottles the mustard jars and the relish jars, replace it with this plastic pouches that are hard to open and just plain wasteful. Also you spend $15 on a dish and I’m eating it out of a plastic bowl and silverware like it’s Covid 2020 style. The food is good and the only reason I come here but this place is ridiculously ran. No I don’t need a ridiculous excuse of a response or go to the website. You should be ashamed.
I ate here with family many, many years ago and it was really good, kind of upscale. This time when I visited Phoenix, my friend said her family really liked the honey sauce and I'd probably really like the honey tofu. I had my nephew order for us. He used the app, then picked it up for us. We ate it at home.He added veggies for me because apparently the dish doesn't come with veggies, just tofu and rice. That doesn't seem like a restaurant meal, more like something I would cook at home when I'm too tired to chop and cook a lot of ingredients. So he added veggies for me.When he got the food home, I dug in. The tofu was good. It was big chunks, fried, maybe breaded. I couldn't really tell. What should have been crispy was kind of soggy because it had been sitting in the sauce, but it wasn't bad.I wasn't a fan of the honey sauce. It was too sweet, gloppy and sticky. It kind of ruined the whole dish for me. I would have liked the tofu better in a spicy sauce.I didn't think the food was all that. It was fine, but not upscale at all. Any Asian restaurant could have served food that good.
