Meet family there and had a wonderful meal. The service was perfect. The food was amazing. Portion size was huge. A little high priced. Not a resturant we can go to more than once every couple years. Great service????? View all feedback.
What Mila Vaquero doesn't like about Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen:
I was initially impressed during my first visit to this restaurant (the photo is from my birthday), but my second experience was a complete letdown. I took my kids here for Father’s Day and my birthday again while we were in town, and we waited about an hour to be seated outside. The food quality, presentation, and customer service were all incredibly disappointing. Our total bill was around $200, including tips! I w... View all feedback.
Grouper was excellent and the grits with corn and sausage was a great complement! Salad was excellent as well. It is expensive but is worth it. Service was great as well!
This review is not for the Phoenix location! Maps put that in itself and refuses to change it.... This review is for the Pappadeaux inside the Dallas Fort Worth Airport terminal. We were stuck at DFW Airport for an unexpected 4 hour delay. Luckily for us this gem of a restaurant was close by. It gave us the opportunity to have a hike relaxed meal without all the noise of the airport. It was such a nice change from the usual burger, pizza or Chinese fast food places that abound. It is located on the 1st floor of terminal A. You can only reach it by using an elevator or escalator from the 2nd floor. This really takes it to a new level as you leave the airport hubub . Prices are quite high, but that 's already expected in the airport. We each got the Cobb salad. It was nothing short of incredible! Fresh and delicious! Service was quite fast. Now...the Cobb salad has a price tag of $24.95. BUT it is huge really huge. It comes in a deep dish platter and is heaped full. Shrimp, red onions, hard boiled eggs, avocados, tomatoes, crumbled bacon,, blue cheese and other cheeses, all completely covered the lettuce. It is seriously more than enough for two hungry big eaters if not for a small young family. We loved every bite, took our time, and could not finish it. So pace yourself and leave the lettuce for last. It comes with its own vinegrette but you can ask for a creamy dressing. Wait staff is awesome. There are multiple tvs, but it 's just fun to enjoy the atmosphere.
Early Mother 's Day surprise sharing with my daughter who is SO thoughtful... Life is short, eat dessert first...Key Lime Pie with fresh berries...lol... At our server Mia 's suggestion I enjoyed the Blackened Catfish with red beans, rice and Etouffee. Included an appetizer, Mozzarella Cheese Bites, and Garlic Bread on the side... Mia obviously loves her job, as she stated she has been here 14 years and also eats here(that 's a good clue). Chased down with a Pineapple Refresher.
The menu has shrunk. They no longer serve crab legs. The lobster tank was empty. I was sad to see that they seem to be going in the wrong direction businesswise
Thall of our food was over salted which took away from the blending of all other seasonings
