Today, I had to quit less than 20 minu... read more I just started working on Sunday, and most of the job was great. However, the GM was abusive towards the other employees. Today, I had to quit less than 20 minutes into my shift because he was yelling at me in front of customers. When I asked him to stop speaking to me that way, he yelled even louder, saying this is his place and I should either leave or shut up and do the job right. After that, I told him off and quit before things escalated further. The food and service are good, but the GM is terrible. I’m 27 and have been working in restaurants for nearly 11 years—I did not overreact. That GM is not fit for any position of authority. It’s really disappointing.
