Very good! The potstickers weren't the greatest, but not bad. We had the family dinner for 2 and it was way more food than you can eat. Ended up bringing a lot home for later. Great service and a family atmosphere. I'll be back. View all feedback.
What Flo Etilo doesn't like about Dragon Bowl:
Best Chinese food in Moon Valley area and surrounding. Their service is typical Chinese style, not there! Lol Restaurant is clean, average, normal neighborhood type Chinese Restaurant. Their food is very good, very tasty. I have had couple of their fish dishes, not sure if they still have it, but my favorite was fish with black beans, very very good. But my go to bi-weekly is their House Fried rice with eggs and thei... View all feedback.
I had the opportunity to try this place because I had a break next door. I had to kill 30 minutes and lunch was perfect. Describe this as a hole in the wall space to eat Chinese food. They are specialized in Szechuan Mandarin cuisine. I ordered Kung pao shrimp (loved the extra peanuts) and it had a perfect spice. It made my nose run, but it was hot in the temperature and the right hot in the spices. They offered to make it even spicier. I refused. Lunch includes soup, 2 pig dogs, fried rice and an egg roll. The restaurant is small about 10 tables or something. The food was tasteful. I'm interested in tasting their soups and pasta dishes. 4 stars for now, until I have more dishes and give them a proper review.
Tried the dragon shell tonight and I was definitely overwhelmed by the menu. There are so many delicious and unique options that you cannot get from other Chinese restaurants in the area. For example, the sticky rolls that were very good, but I also saw on the Roasted Duck menu, which I will order the second time. You need to be sure not to order with your stomach or you order way too much food. The pricing is something on the higher side, but you will definitely get a lot of food. All dishes are big and come with white rice so you definitely don't need much.
Good food, good prices. I will say that the difference between the sweet and sour chicken of my orange chicken and the woman was negligible... but I liked the noodles, rice and egg roll-dinner combination. Also just put, if it is usual, service was not great. But I suppose the server had a long/bad day.
This is a great place for take-out. Everything's just so good! We usually order 3 or 4 ducks because we feed a lot. We almost always order Crab Puffs and Teriyaki Chicken, but the other entrees we change and have loved everything so far. 10 of 10 recommend!
This has been our go to Chinese spot since we moved up here a few years ago, it’s always been good fast delivery. They must have recently got a different cook though because both our meals were a little different tonight. My shrimp was different in the sweet and sour shrimp, like a shrimp app where it’s flat with a panko type crust (and not as good) and my husbands beef was spicier. Hoping it goes back.
