Interesting place. The atmosphere is updated but could use a good cleaning. The food was okay to me, but my husband said it was great. I would go to oishi next time. I'm not sure why the ginger was almost white. View all feedback.
What Edward c doesn't like about Yamato Steak House Of Japan:
service is good, place seems clean. Food is just okay, chicken was salty Af, steak hibachi tasted like a dirty grill. Salads are fresh but I would prefer a ginger dressing. Sushi has been alright and I'll probably stick to it moving forward. I've never seen a Rangoon made like that and if takes away from the experience even with the filling being solid. Food is great. Sushi is surprisingly good. Service is typically very fast. Great for lunch.
Great food, great service, great prices... Tuesday's they have 30% off all sushi
The Service was good so was the food. Crab Rangoons were some of the best I've eaten!
We came down here from the Chicago area for the Choctaw fair. What a hidden gem this restaurant was.The servers were excellent, the person making the sushi was focused, fast and made great sushi rolls!I was pleasantly surprised how great the food was, being in a smaller town, some places cut back in quality. Not here! Sashimi was fresh, and the sushi rolls were huge and packed with flavor! We were lucky to catch the Tuesday special !! I believe it was 30% off all rolls. They have other daily specials as well. Large variety and selection of what you would expect at a good sushi place. If they were up here in the area I live in, they would be one of my top go-to places for sushi. Great job!I recommended this restaurant to my friends that live down there and will definitely be back when we visit next time.
