Great place for an early cocktail and small plates before sending our out of town guest home on the Acela! Our server Erin is our all time favorite and we were happy she was working when we arrived! View all feedback.
What Lonzo Larson dislikes about Vintage Wine Bar & Bistro:
They were running behind and could not seat me for my reservation. After 40 min of going somewhere else while waiting for my table I came back and they still couldn’t seat me. They directed me towards their bar where they didn’t comp me a drink even after being late. The kitchen was running out of food on the menu by the time I was seated. I was accidentally given a dessert and after I started eating it (assuming it... View all feedback.
I stopped by here on a Saturday night around 10:30 pm with my husband, and we were seated indoors but next to the open windows since it was warm outside). The table was tiny, which worked out for us anyways since we only ordered wines. I had this placeon my list in hopes of getting wine and cheese plates, but since we came here after dinner, we were way too stuffed to eatanything. So, we ordered 3 glasses of wine total Merlot, Malbec, and Cab. I don't remember the names of the Malbec and Merlotwe ordered, but Uppercut from Napa Valley) was the Cabernet we got, and it was DELISH. We ordered olives later in the nightwhich were delicious but were pitted which I hate : Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable. I would definitelyrecommend!
Stopped in late on 3/27. I had the wine flight featured in the photo and my fiancee had a glass of pinot. Bartender (wine tender? was nice enough and gave us suggestions on where we might find a late night bite. Seemed like a nice, chill place toshare some wine with friends. Cool atmosphere with a chandelier made of wine bottles as well!
I spent a weekend in Philly with my boyfriendWe come to this area a lot when we visit our friends but had never been to this wine bar before.
This is a cute place. We went here for Happy Hour and enjoyed the food, ambience, and wine. Meatballs were really good. We will definitely return.
My boyfriend and I came in here on Thursday night for an impromptu date night. We made a reservation but did not need to. It was not needed. The place was not packed. However, the music was VERY loud. I had trouble hearing my conversation across the very small table over the loud music. My boyfriend ordered an old fashioned. Probably our first mistake was not ordering a glass of wine. He was not keen on the little cubed ice that was in his old fashioned. Second drink was a bourbon, neat. Can’t really mess that up. The sautéed shrimp were delicious and not over cooked. The Lamb Bourguignon was overpowering on the sauced flavor and less lamb flavor. For $20 I would have much fathered tasted more lamb and less…. Whatever they wanted to call it. Not a bourguignon for sure. Our serve was sweet, attentive and never left me searching for him. But he didn’t hover annoyingly either. He was wonderful. The host, just as kind and welcoming when we first arrived. I will return to try other dishes in the future.
