Everything was wonderful. We visited during a quiet time, so it was peaceful. Unfortunately, they were out of quite a few items, but I understand this is due to shipping issues. I often mention that I have a reservation, yet they rarely check, which means I hardly ever receive my OpenTable credit. It's quite frustrating, as I always remind them, but it often goes unheeded. What User doesn't like about Sutton’s:
I was disappointed that Suttons was closed when I arrived, despite their hours being listed as open on OpenTable. It would be helpful if they updated their closing times, as I stood out in the cold, thinking I was just early, only to find the restaurant closed for business. View all feedback.
Great outdoor seating and waiter was very welcoming
We had heard Sutton’s had a great burger and my husband was craving one so we decided to try it out. They were really nice but the space in the back was really cramped and we felt like we were up against everyone even though they places doors in-between tables. The burger was extremely salty and so were the wings. I couldn’t even eat it. I’m not a picky eater at all but do love food. Maybe it was just a bad day for them.
Since it’s opening, I have frequented Sutton’s multiple times and have always had an exceptional experience with outstanding service. The seasonal menu is also ripe with delicious and nuanced offerings. The craft cocktails are constructed with flair and care the decor pays loving homage to Philadelphia’s manufacturing history. Sutton’s is my go-to for everything: from spontaneous date nights to Girls Nights Out. The staff is lovely, the service impeccable, the cocktails are refreshingly intoxicating and food is delicious!
This restaurant had too many people crammed into a small courtyard. The pictures are deceiving— outdoor area is very small, and even though restaurants across the city have made pandemic dining smooth and safe, this place is still acting like it’s the first week of reopening and they haven’t figured out how to go about outdoor dining. Seating is very uncomfortable so don’t go if you have a bad back. Don’t bring a nice purse because you will have to put it on the dirty slab of cement under your feet.
We're positively impressed with the restaurant. The food was excellent (they now hold the title of best burger in Philly) and a salad with perfectly cooked fried) chicken. Full bar drinks and great service. Great date night dinner choice with outdoor seating (lovely back patio, btw)
