Walking around town and came across this super friendly cafe. Very welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. Oh and the latte was soooo good. Hubby got the hot chocolate and couldn't stop talking about it. Lots of people working on their laptops. So if you need a place to do work and want to grab a coffee or just sit back and relax with a latte and a pastry this is the place. View all feedback.
What Jane Barnes doesn't like about Shot Tower Coffee:
The coffee is wonderful, the baristas are great, and the ambience is lovely. The owner ? i think, tattooed white guy is weird vibes. I witnessed him aggressively approach two college girls who were doing work and had brought in drinks from an outside establishment and were discussing what pastry they were about to order he came up to them, unsolicited, and told them what they were doing was “ up” which felt aggressiv... I've been here a few times in the couple of months. I love the chill vibe. The staff is nice and efficient. The coffee is great. Not a big selection of food but a few good snacky things are usually up for offer. I tend to get cortados and rate cafés based on their quality. This one gets 5 stars.Food: 3/5
read moreI've lived in a nearby neighborhood for years, and there are many shops that are closer to me. However, ShotTower has won my loyalty above all others! Great staff and service. Also a great place to sit and do some work for a couple of hours with good access to outlets and lots of space. Lots of other loyal customers and familiar faces stopping in add to the friendly atmosphere too. Located in a pretty quiet neighborhood right off Passyunk Ave. but still close proximity to many other PHL attractionsFood is mostly grab and go pastries and baked goods, but there is granola, yogurt, Oatmeal, and a few other quick prepare items if you're looking for something a little more substantial.Highlights:-The pizza danish, if they have any left,or a Ham and Cheese croissant-Fresh made lemonade and Arnold Palmers in the summer months
read moreOur go-to neighborhood coffee shop! Consistently delicious drinks at a better price than other options in the area (my favorite is the iced chai latte with oat milk). Plenty of seating options inside with charging outlets and outside where you can sit with your dog. Friendly staff. My only feedback is sometimes it can be pretty cold inside and the music can be turned down a bit but that doesn’t stop me from doing some work here or stopping by on an after-work walk a few days a week!

I witnessed him aggressively approach two college girls who were doing work and had brought in drinks from an outside establishment and were discussing what pastry they were about to order he came up to them, unsolicited, and told them what they were doing was “ up” which felt aggressive as he did not inquire as to what their intentions were before confronting them . Another time he made me the wrong drink which I paid nearly $7 for and was just like “sorry! Is this drink okay instead?” Instead of offering to remake the drink i paid $7 for. Unfortunate because it’s a lovely coffee shop with wonderful baristas, but not a fan of the owner’s ? vibe.
read moreVery nice coffee shop. Seems like a great place to work, lots of seating and people on laptops. Drinks were yummy. We had a matcha latte with oat milk, an iced chai latte with skim milk, and a cheese croissant. There are no prices listed for pastries. The croissant was $3.25. Entrance is fully wheelchair accessible.
