I've always heard great things about this restaurant over the years and we decided to finally go with friends and I can say it held up to expectations all around. We sat outside so I can't comment on the indoor dining/regular experience but even outside it was still delicious, attentive and a very enjoyable meal all around. What Gerald Hartmann doesn't like about Pumpkin BYOB:
We used to be really big Pumpkin fans. This will be our last meal there. My salad was completely wilted and dripping in dressing. It didn’t seem fresh. Food was high quality. Choices in the fixed price menu were good. Portions were on the smaller side, but that's likely how they keep the price reasonable. And we were full, just not feeling bloated, at the end of the meal. Service was top notch; very accommodating of dietary restrictions. Would definitely return.
We really enjoyed our first courses but the second and third left us wanting. It was partially our fault because we don't eat meat and they made us a vegetarian pasta. Always a pleasure to eat here. Food always very good, sometimes truly excellent. Service is friendly, efficient, low key.
Great meal and lovely service. We've eaten here several times and would be happy to return. The roasted beet appetizer was especially brilliant!
Innovative, well executed platings in both the appetizer and main course sections of the menu, great service (Janine is the best!! , and affordable. What more could a foodie ask for?
