I've been going to this spot for many years. My typical orders are the rice platters with lemongrass pork or the vermicelli noodles. If I'm craving soup, I get their beef pho noodle soup.Usually when I'm in the area, I order banh mi's to go and share it with my friends family. I typically get the lemongrass pork, chicken, and special combinations. This place does not disappoint and has authentic Vietnamese food. Also s... View all feedback.
What Derek H doesn't like about Pho 20:
Pho ga broth was bland and was more akin to Japanese mushroom soup (it was tasty but def not pho). Maybe it was an off day, but would def try again. Will try beef broth/tai next time! The spring and summer rolls were on point. View all feedback.
If you're in the mood for good Vietnamese food, you need to give this place a try. Service was friendly and fast. The special pho was tasty just like mom's cooking. The portion was huge. The special broken rice dish had enough amount of everything. This was the most tasty rice dish I've had in a long time. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Our first chance at exploring Chinatown started here! Food was good and just what we needed on a rainy night!Food: 5/5
Some of the best food I have ever had and certainly some of the best customer service! Do yourself a favour and order the vermicelli salad, it is simply amazing. I will crave the coffee smoothie until the next time I visit this restaurant.
The food was a beautiful and tasty! The Vietnamese crepe was unbelievable! I've had the same dish before at another restaurant I loved it and this was even better! My only wish was that there was little more shrimp in it. But the flavor of the crape itself and all of the fresh mint and veggies was super good. The vermicelli was also very good but not as impressive to me.The person who served me was absolutely delightful and kind and sweet and helpful. She was surprised at my order but very kind about it. The TV was annoying but when I asked they gladly turned it off. I will say that there's a limited number of chairs more booths. With someone with disabilities the chairs are more comfortable. They were willing to see me at a longer table with a chair. But this could be inconvenient at busy times for disabled people eating alone. Overall really great!
Got the pho đặc biet and it was amazing. Perfect broth, noodles, and the most tender meats. It’s so hard to find good soft tendon around Philly sometimes, but they nailed it. My partner got the broken noodle pork chop dish (added a little side of broth) and she said it might be her new #1 in all of Philly which is saying a lot… it was flavorful and melt in your mouth tender. We were so surprised it beat all our favorites! We’ll be regulars for sure
