NOORD eetcafe is a classic bistro with a Dutch and Northern European focus. Locally farmed produce and meats are used whenever possible, served in a relaxed and friendly setting. All breads and desserts are made in-house, and we also smoke and cure our own fish and meats. We aim to make you feel like you are coming to our home for dinner - just bring the wine.

Was Vincent Homenick at Noord a mag?
Went for restaurant week. The salad appetizer was blah, very little dressing. No salt or pepper, no real flavor. Had the pork entree. It was so tough that I could barely cut it never mind chew it. My dinner partner agreed with me on both dishes. My companion had the bitterballen for appetizer which was very good and the salmon which was perfection. We went for restaurant week to try it out. We loved the ambiance, the noise level was perfect. Energetic vibe, friendly service, dimly lit, roomy tables and the anteroom kept out the cold very well. Noord is our top choice restaurant in Philadelphia. JonCarl consistently introduces new specials that always bring us back for more. Their wait staff is top-notch and the bread is absolutely delicious.
